The El Dorado Dance Academy, Inc. (EDDA) is the sole owner of personal information collected on the studio premises, and no personally identifiable information from clientele or website visitors can be obtained through this website. EDDA will not sell, share or rent personal information in ways different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement.

EDDA takes every precaution to protect clientele information. Our security policy is that only those people who have a need to know have access to the EDDA database, and a security policy is in place to prevent other employees from using the studio database. Employees can only obtain access to database information through password protected means.

EDDA does everything to ensure clientele information is protected. All personal information is restricted for use in our offices and only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. billing clerk or customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.

While the registration form is available for filling out and printing from your home computer, this web site is not interactive and therefore no personally identifiable information is at risk.

For safety purposes and in cases of emergency, any and all information given on the registration form may be utilized by a staff member. It is urged that when registering children at EDDA, all of the contact information for parents or guardians be given, including that of a second parent/guardian or emergency contact. All information is retained by EDDA, is completely private and is not sold or rented to any outside organization or entity.

Contact and financial information are used to process all purchases of services or goods. Contact information and dance supply purchase details are retained by EDDA while credit card and/or check information is not retained or shared by EDDA.

EDDA retains student and class records within the database that does identify individuals and shares contact information for safety, emergency and accounting purposes.

EDDA reserves the right to use photographic and/or video images of its customers for marketing, publicity and advertising purposes. There is a waiver on the Registration Form that states that no personally identifiable information will be given out regarding the images. The Registration Form gives EDDA authorization and use of those images without pay or compensation. All representations of the photographic images constitute EDDA property, solely and completely.

EDDA will request information from time to time from enrolled students and/or parents/guardians via an end of the year survey for purposes of monitoring or improving the services provided at EDDA and satisfaction of our clientele.

EDDA asks for contact information such as name and email address for subscription and mailing information for EDDA's newsletter. Users who no longer wish to receive the newsletter may op-out by contacting Reception.

Users who no longer wish to receive promotional materials may op-out by contacting Reception.

If EDDA decides to change its policy regarding privacy, those changes will be communicated via email to all of the students, parents and guardians whose email addresses are currently in the EDDA system. It is EDDA's desire to communicate how information is collected, how it is used, by whom and under what circumstances, if any, that EDDA shares or discloses that information.
