El Dorado Dance Academy contributes to the community
by performing at local venues such as convalescent homes and
the county fair, offering classes specially geared to dancers
with disabilities, and providing scholarships and fee waivers
to committed students with special financial circumstances.
In addition, once a year EDDA hosts an Open House/ Dance Jubilee!
in which a day of all free, open level dance classes are offered for the community! Participation in Community Cleanup
and Recycle Days, performing for fundraisers, festivals, galas, school
Holiday Season assemblies and the El Dorado Hills Christmas Tree Lighting
Ceremony are dance engagements in the local community that
are all part of EDDA's Outreach agenda.

El Dorado Dance Academy arranges dance birthday parties!
Either have the party in our studio (no clean-up for you!)
or one of our instuctors can come to your venue and have the
party moving in no-time! Call
for more details.
El Dorado Dance Academy
has implemented its Dance On the Move program at every school
in the Buckeye Union School Disctict since 2004. EDDA is proud
to help bring dance and art-based education back into the
public schools and looks to expand this mission in the coming
years.
EDDA had a terrific year implementing a dance program at
Lake Forest Elementary school in El Dorado Hills. The program
offers dance classes to the entire school,
culminating in a showcase for the parents, staff and community.
We look forward to continuing this great program for years to come!
Are you a daycare provider or school looking for fun and
unique activites for your students? El Dorado Dance Academy's
'Dance on the Move' program may be just the thing you are
looking for. Call and arrange
for one of our instructors to come to your school to teach
an initial FREE half hour dance lesson, and awaken young minds
to the art and fun that dance can offer!
Styles include: Creative Movement, Ballet and Hip-Hop/Jazz.
If interest exists, El Dorado Dance Academy instructors are
available for regularly scheduled visits to your facility,
bringing dance to you! Dance On the Move is an Outreach program
at minimal cost to participants in an effort to keep art and
dance education in our El Dorado County schools.

One of our goals at El Dorado Dance Academy is to expose
our students to a broad spectrum of dance and arts related
showings from local, national and international artists. When
a great art exhibit or performance comes through Northern
California we organize field trips for the students and
parents. Look for details in our newsletter.
Interested students who are physically or developmentally
disabled are welcome to enroll in special classes offered
three times per year in four week sessions (Taster Courses
offered September, January and April).
Dancers with Disabilities was created specifically for students
with special needs. If enrollment numbers and interest exists,
Dancers with Disabilities can opt to participate in the El
Dorado Dance Academy Summer Concert at the end of June.
